Lake Turnersee offers a fabulous view of the Hochobir (2,139 metres) and the Petzen (2,142 metres).
Like Lake Klopeiner See, Lake Turnersee is also one of the warmest swimming lakes in Europe, and in summer the water reaches a temperature of up to 28 degrees Celsius. With an area of around 44.2 hectares, the idyllically situated swimming lake with water of drinking quality is an attraction especially for guests seeking peace and relaxation.
The municipal swimming pool is to the north of the lake, and has a 1,000 m² sunbathing area (partly with natural shade), a generous playground and a sunny terrace with a wonderful view of the Hochobir and the Petzen.
